Big changes are on their way to Mason Park! Design of phase I improvements is underway for the area of Mason Park defined as the "Heart of the Park" - the park area's social center. The Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority is taking the first step toward implementing the 2019 Mason Park Master Plan by proposing more than $4 million in open space improvements to bring the "Heart of the Park" to life, including a new play area, Houston's first "FitLot", and much more! But that's not all. Other partners are bringing additional exciting changes to the area. Interested in hearing more and being a part of the change?

Our initial community workshop in Mason Park was a great success with participation by roughly 300 people! Now it's time to see what the design team has come up with based on your responses. Join us on Saturday, June 21 from 11am to 1pm at Mason Park for more information (poor weather site to be announced soon). Check out the summary for the March 22 event and the flyer for the upcoming meeting in the "Related Plans and Documents" Section of this page.
