The 2022 Eastwood Park Master Plan proposed some exciting changes for Eastwood Park - approximately $20 million worth of improvements! Completing the full plan will take time and the help of a number of partners.
The Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority, in coordination with our partners at District H and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, is taking the first step and you are needed to be a part of it! The HRA has authorized more than $4 million in bond funds to begin making improvements to the park including the skate park, play area and walking path.
On April 12th from 11am to 2pm, a community workshop will take place at Eastwood Park to get input on design of these spaces. But more important, this is a celebration of the vision of the community for Eastwood Park and the last step in design before construction begins. Come out, make your voice heard, visit with neighbors, and enjoy some refreshments!
