The 2022 Eastwood Park Master Plan proposed some exciting changes for Eastwood Park - approximately $20 million worth of improvements! Completing the full plan will take time and the help of a number of partners.
The Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority, in coordination with our partners at District H and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, is taking the first step and you are needed to be a part of it! The HRA has authorized more than $4 million in bond funds to begin making improvements to the park including the skate park, play area and walking path.
On Saturday, April 12 the design team hosted a workshop in Eastwood Park that resulted in participation by roughly 150 attendees!The team is currently building on the feedback provided by the community and preparing for a follow-up meeting in September (date to be determined). Check out the summary of the April 12 event as well as the results of the Skatepark survey! More information will be coming very soon!
